Dr. Maysoon is a general dentist with a vast NHS and private practice experience in the UK. She graduated from Manchester University in 2006, and successfully earned postgraduate qualification by becoming a member of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2008.
Her passion for teaching made her the youngest clinical teaching fellow at Manchester University in 2008, where she taught the undergraduate dental students. She continues to serve the Royal College of Surgeons of England as an examiner for the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties.
Dr. Maysoon has particular interest in minimally invasive aesthetic dentistry and cosmetic orthodontics and is a certified provider of Inman Aligner™ and Six Months Smiles® treatments. She has completed a number of courses including a one-year program in Cosmetic Dentistry and Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry in London. She is also certified in performing laser dentistry by the British Institute of Laser Dentistry (BILD).
Dr. Maysoon believes strongly in giving back to the community and has volunteered on a dental charity mission to Tanzania, in association with Bridge2Aid, where she treated patients in rural areas and taught clinical officers how to perform extractions safely and with adequate cross-infection control. She was also heavily involved in various charity social events held by the BACD Charity Committee for Bridge2Aid.
Outside of work, Dr. Maysoon enjoys photography, travelling and yoga. She is an advanced squash player and is currently playing for the Dubai Prince Squash League. She’s also a passionate foodie who enjoys working on her food blog.
