She shared her past experience with the mums including the many kinds of dental treatments for children as well as counseling of mums from different cultures and backgrounds.
"Oral healthcare starts as early as when a woman plans to have a baby," said Dr. Rafif. "Bacteria can be transmitted from care-givers to newborns. Therefore, knowing how to take care of your child’s oral health is part of maintaining your child’s overall health status."
She also shared tips on children’s school snack boxes, eating habits, breastfeeding, oral hygiene routines, sleeping habits of babies and pacifiers.
Dubai Mums stated, "lots of interesting tips were provided, light was shed on myths we thought were true and we were given a bunch of lovely goodie bags."
When the discussion ended, the mothers and kids were taken on a tour around our Children's Dental Center and got the chance to view the surgery rooms.
We'd like to thank Dubai Mums for making the coffee morning extremely interactive and a success.
