Professional Information

Dr. Henrik Rasmussen started his career in the army where he served in the Danish Royal Life Guards for 4 years with the rank of Captain.

He graduated from the Royal Dental College, University of Copenhagen, Denmark in 1993 with a Masters degree in Health Sciences. Upon graduation, he worked in multiple dental practices before he started his own dental practice in Copenhagen during 1999. He is an experienced general dentist with expertise in full mouth rehabilitation, removable dentures including All-on-4 and All-on-6 solutions.

His interests for cosmetic dentistry, crowns, bridges, veneers, inlays and onlays has taken him all around the world including Austria, UK, Lichtenstein, Los Angeles and Switzerland.

In 2013, Dr. Henrik and his family decided to try their luck in a new country and moved to the South of France. He practiced on the French Riviera for 7 years and with great success. Moving to Dubai was a dream that first came to mind in 2011, but it only recently became a reality.

Dr. Henrik believes that teeth that have been taken good care of, will increase quality of life now and in the future.

Dr. Henrik speaks English, German, French, Danish, Swedish and Norwegian.

What do you like most about your job?

The ability to restore functionality and aesthetics wherever possible.

How do you see the future of dentistry?

I believe that 3D-scanning and 3D-printing will change our approach to recreating smiles and oral health in the coming years.

What are your hobbies? What do you like to do outside of work?

I enjoy all kinds of physical exercise. I love road bikes and have been participating in several bike races, climbing the highest mountains in Europe. Other interests of mine are diving, skiing, golf and running. I am a handyman with a weakness for all kinds of tools and live by the slogan “If you can’t do it, you need to learn it!”

What is the best advice you can give to your patients?

With dental treatment it’s better to be one step ahead than two steps behind!
