Waila has graduated from John Abbott College in Quebec, Canada attaining a 3-year diploma in dental hygiene. She is a member of the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association.

She has worked in several private clinics in Canada, University of Sharjah Dental College, and Emirates Airlines. Waila is passionate about oral health education and awareness and has been involved in oral cancer and caries prevention oral health awareness campaigns. She has also given lectures to mothers of newborn babies on the prevention of early childhood caries.

Helping her patients understand the relationship between oral health and general health is her top priority. She is also well-trained in the use of Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) and tooth whitening.

Waila is fluent in English and Arabic.

What do you like most about your job?

Educating patients and oral disease prevention, patient’s compliance with treatment plan, positivity and appreciation.

What are your hobbies? What do you like to do outside of work?

My hobbies are travelling, shopping, and working out.

What is the best advice you can give to your patients?

Prevention is better than cure; best achieved by regular checkup and professional hygiene cleaning and proper daily oral home care.
