What do you like most about your job?
What I love most about being a dental hygienist is the connection I get to build with my patients. Helping them feel comfortable, seeing their confidence grow, and knowing I’m making a positive impact on their health is so rewarding. It’s a career that challenges me to keep learning and improving, while still giving me the balance to enjoy life outside of work. Every day, I feel proud to help people smile a little brighter.
How do you see the future of dentistry?
I believe that the future of dentistry will be deeply shaped by technology, especially artificial intelligence. AI will help us diagnose oral diseases earlier, plan treatments more accurately, and personalize care for each patient like never before. I also see a growing awareness that oral health is not just about the mouth — it is directly connected to the overall health of the body. As research continues to show the links between oral health and systemic diseases like diabetes, heart disease, and even Alzheimer’s, dentistry will play an even bigger role in preventive healthcare. I am excited to be part of a future where we can improve not only smiles, but total well-being.
What are your hobbies? What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside of work, I love to travel and explore new places. Being by the beach is where I feel most alive — the ocean, the sound of the waves, and the fresh air help me recharge and stay inspired. I also enjoy experiencing different cultures, trying new foods, and spending quality time with friends and family. Traveling gives me a sense of freedom and balance that I bring back into my everyday life.
