Professional Information
Hilary Browne graduated from the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa, 2002, earning the Oral Hygienist Association of South Africa’s (OHASA) award for most outstanding Dental Hygiene student, achieving top honors in Pathology. Additionally, being awarded the Golden Key International Award for being one of the top 15% of students in the Health Sciences Faculty across 17 international universities.
While working in clinical practice, Hilary was offered the opportunity to work in Dubai in 2006, where she has remained to date. In 2015, she became actively involved in the Emirates Dental Hygienists’ Club and took over the role of president in August 2018. The Club has received international accolades for its contribution to Dental Hygiene.
Hilary is a certified biological hygienist and nutritional coach and has a keen interest in functional medicine, herbology and acupuncture.
Besides having several articles published, Hilary has just had her first book published. She and a fellow dental hygienist also have a dental hygiene training academy for holistic therapies.
Her philosophy is to share the fundamentals of basic healthcare with her patients that promotes optimal oral and systemic health.
