20 July 2016, Dubai, UAE: As part of our ongoing School Program, our School Project Coordinator Dr. Sosan Fatima visited Tiny Tots Nursery in Abu Hail last Thursday, July 14th.

The initiative has two main objectives – to evaluate the current oral health of schoolchildren and to emphasize the importance of a balanced diet, proper oral hygiene techniques and regular dental check-ups.

"It was a pleasure to be invited and visit the kids of Tiny Tots Nursery during their Dental Day. We arrived at around 9:30am and started off with a video presentation and a workshop on brushing with the little ones aged 3 year and below," said Dr. Sosan.

"Next, we let the children sit and explore the dental chair. This experience allows them to feel at ease when it is time for them to visit their dentist."

"We did another presentation and workshop for the children aged 3 and above followed by their dental checkup. As each child smiled and showed up on the dental chair, they were awarded with goodie bags. We also included a Q&A session while interacting with children to know more about their brushing and flossing habits and to know if their parents help them brush their teeth."

"The team saw 100 children during our visit. They were all excited, attentive and highly appreciative. Thank you Tiny Tots Nursery for having us and we hope to see all the little ones soon!"
