Dr. Kleio Palaska

Dr. Kleio is an American Board-certified orthodontist who was born and raised in Greece. She received her dental degree from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2007. In 2008 she moved to Boston, USA where she was a research associate for two years at Harvard University at the Departments of Experimental Medicine and Oral Epidemiology. In 2013, she received both her Orthodontic Certificate and Master’s (MSc) degree from Tufts University in Boston. Toronto’s SickKids Hospital was the next step in her education where she completed her orthodontic fellowship in craniofacial anomalies and cleft lip and palate. Following this, Dr. Kleio spent two years working full time as an orthodontist in both Greece and France and teaching orthodontics on a part-time basis at the Graduate Program of the University of Athens in Greece. In 2016 she moved to UAE and has called Dubai home ever since.

Dr. Kleio treats patients of all ages- from young children to adults. Her areas of expertise include invisible aligners, braces (metal and ceramic), early/interceptive orthodontic treatment, hybrid orthodontic treatment, orthognathic cases and orthodontics for patients with cleft lip and palate.

Dr. Kleio is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Greek Association for Orthodontic Study and Research and the Emirates Orthodontic Society. She attends numerous continuing education seminars, study clubs, and conferences each year in order to keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in her field. She has also contributed to several scientific publications in peer-reviewed orthodontic literature.

Dr. Kleio takes great joy in connecting with patients of all ages and walks of life. She considers it a true privilege to play a role in enhancing their confidence and overall well-being through orthodontic care. With a caring, honest approach and an eye for detail, Dr. Kleio works hard to make sure everyone feels comfortable, heard, and right at home during the orthodontic journey.

When she is not working, Dr. Kleio loves to spend time with her husband, and their three wonderful children. She also enjoys photography, travelling, exercising, reading books and improving her Arabic.
