Up, Close & Personal
What do you like most about your job?
What I enjoy most about my work is the meaningful impact prosthodontics can have on patients’ lives, especially when restoring confidence through their smiles. I value working with a diverse range of patients and managing complex cases that require careful planning and precision. Building strong human connections throughout treatment is central to my approach and deeply rewarding.
How do you see the future of dentistry?
I see the future of dentistry as increasingly digital, interdisciplinary, and deeply patient-centred. Advances in digital workflows, biomimetic materials, microscope-guided procedures, and 3D printing are enabling treatments that are more precise and minimally invasive. While technologies such as AI-assisted diagnostics and digital smile design continue to grow, I believe there will always be a place for highly personalised, bespoke care at the highest level of dentistry.
What are your hobbies? What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside of clinical practice, I enjoy in sports and outdoor adventures with my loved ones. I am a passionate sports enthusiast, with a particular love for golf and cycling. These activities help keep me mentally focused and physically resilient. I also value spending quality time with family and friends and believe maintaining balance outside of dentistry is essential for long-term wellbeing.
What is the best advice you can give to your patients?
My advice to patients goes beyond routine dental care, especially when considering complex restorative or aesthetic treatments. Choosing the right clinician, someone you trust, who combines clinical expertise, experience, and artistic judgement, is essential for achieving predictable, natural results. I encourage patients to assess a clinician’s training, communication style, and philosophy, as trust is built through transparency, collaboration, and thoughtful planning.
