Improve your smile with ultra-thin porcelain veneers.
What is the veneers procedure like?
After your initial consultation, the veneers procedure is typically completed within two sessions. On your first visit, your dentist may do minimal preparations, take impressions and place temporary restorations. In addition, your dentist may create a mockup or wax that allows you to “try on” your new smile. The dentist can also stimulate the final result through digital smile design.
After a few days, you will come for your second appointment to test and fit your veneers. Once all the necessary adjustments are done, your veneers will be bonded to your teeth.
How long do veneers last?
Veneers are made from incredibly durable material but just like your natural teeth, they can crack or break under pressure. With meticulous oral hygiene and routine dental checkups and maintenance, veneers can last anywhere from 15 to 20 years.
How to care for your veneers?
Taking care of your veneers is no different from looking after your natural teeth - brush twice a day with a non-abrasive fluoride toothpaste, floss once daily and visit your dentist and hygienist regularly. If you grind your teeth, your dentist may recommend a nightguard to avoid damaging your veneers.
