Our Specialist Pediatric Dentists had the opportunity to talk to parents about dental hygiene, oral habits and nutrition during the coffee morning session held at Dr. Michael’s Children’s Dental Center.
23rd July 2017, Dubai, UAE: Mums play a key role when it comes to their child’s oral health status. During the coffee morning session held at Dr. Michael’s Children’s Dental Center, our Specialist Pediatric Dentists had the opportunity to talk to parents about dental hygiene, oral habits and nutrition.
The guest speakers were Specialist Pediatric Dentists, Dr. Imneet Madan and Dr. Carol Onyango.
Dr. Imneet and Dr. Carol had a one-on-one discussion with the mums which proved to be very informative and highly interactive. They spoke about the basic steps pertaining to oral cavities and eruption of teeth. Dr. Carol also talked about toothbrushing techniques, fluoride toothpaste, nutrition, pacifiers, the right age at which a child should be brought in for an orthodontics consultation and the use of retainers.
After the discussion, the mums were taken on a tour around the clinic and surgery rooms. They were seated along with Dr. Imneet where she elucidated her procedural activities.
